Gail grew up in Clifton, NJ, graduating from Clifton High in 1956. She attended William Paterson College but left at 19 to hit the slopes and help build a ski lodge in Vermont. Gail later went back to school to earn her Bachelors in Business Administration with a second degree in Psychology from Saint Elizabeth’s in New Jersey, but her sense of adventure was still evident when she learned to ride motorcycles after her divorce. She loved to draw and paint anything she saw around her, she wrote poems, made clothes for herself and her children, and taught herself to play guitar and ukulele. She was an avid reader and had a curious mind that loved to solve puzzles. You could never tell her that she couldn’t do something because she’d prove you wrong; there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t try to figure out. She loved music, dancing and had a great sense of humor, but nothing matched her love of animals, which she passed on to her children. Her happiest moments were those spent with her kids and her cats. We will remember her always, for her entire life and our entire lives. She will be so greatly missed.
