Almcrantz, Joan T., 82 of Egg Harbor Township passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017. Devoted wife to Stanley for 30 years; mother to Stanley (Denise) Nowicki, Darlene (the late Robert) Kryzwicki, and the late Donna Nowicki; also survived by five grandchildren; many loving sisters; one brother; in-laws; friends and Stanley’s two children, Glen and Joy. Also survived by Stanley’s two grandchildren.
Gratitude and appreciation to my stepmother, the late Edith Taylor. Special thanks to brother-in-law, Pete Altimari, as well as, family, friends, and neighbors who were always there at our time of need. Joan was educated in the food industry for many years, a true connoisseur (Bon Appetit). Extended thanks to The Town & Country Restaurant and staff for her quick breakfast stops with sister-in-law, Deborah. To you the family posthumously awards the honor of valor for your patience and bravery. Loving thoughts from sister-in-law Deb, today it’s all about you Joan and rightfully so, what I always tried to give you was tough love (no apologies). “Who do I love, it’s you, it’s you, it’s you.” Loving thoughts of my sister Mary and St. Vincent’s Home, where Joan would sing for the nuns, “Who do you Love, I hope, I hope it’s me.” How sweet the memories of two sisters so many years ago.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 17th at 11:00am at St. Joseph’s Church, 606 Shore Road, Somers Point. Burial is private. Arrangements by the George H Wimberg Funeral Home, Linwood – Ventnor. In lieu of flowers, Mass cards are welcomed. Condolences may be extended to the family at ghwimberg.com
