Obituary of Priscilla Wright (Lorito)
Priscilla (Lorito) Wright, 88, peacefully passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 in Miami Beach, FL. Previously of Ventnor, NJ, she lived in the Miami area for the last twelve years to be near her daughters, who are both Florida residents.
Priscilla was born on July 17, 1932 and was raised in Vineland, NJ, mostly on Myrtle Street. She graduated from Vineland High School, class of 1950. After high school, she lived in Boston, MA for a few years. She returned to New Jersey and lived in Atlantic City, where she met her husband of almost 37 years, Paul K. Wright, in 1966. She was widowed in March 2004, upon his death.
During her life, Priscilla earned her Real Estate License and sold real estate for a period, and in her later years, she worked in accounting as a bookkeeper in Atlantic City.
Priscilla was a devoted Catholic and was previously a member of St. James Catholic Church in Ventnor. She is survived by her two daughters, Camille Wright-Mack (Tony) and Kathleen, and by two grandsons, Paul and Alexander. Priscilla was the eldest of five children and is also survived by her sister, Antoinette (Tony) Puopolo of Sanford, FL, and brother, Camillo Junior (Judy) Lorito of Bridgeton, NJ. She is predeceased by husband, Paul, brothers, Frank Lorito of Vineland and Joseph Lorito of Milmay, and parents Camillo and Rose.
Her services will include a viewing at the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 1707 New Rd., Linwood, on Sunday, April 18th, from 4-6 PM. A funeral Mass will be held the next day, Monday, April 19th, at 11 AM at Holy Trinity Parish: St. James Church, in Ventnor. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.
