Harry W. Griesser Jr., 69, of Margate City, NJ, formally from Broomall and Havertown, Pa, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021.
Harry was the beloved husband and best friend of Marie Peppelman Griesser. They were best friends for 52 years, and married for 47. Harry was so loved by everyone who knew him. Harry was a best friend, amazing father to his three daughters, Jacqueline, Kelly, and Heather, a wonderful husband to Marie, and the world’s greatest Pop-pop to Wesley, Ethan, Kaileigh, Sarah, Jake, Maiah, and Caity. He loved his
son-in-law’s, Joe, Drew, and Bernie, like sons. He had a close relationship with his five siblings and their families, Patsy (Lee), Marcie (Ray), Joe (Trish), Mary Ann (Paul), and Jimmy (Pam),. Harry had a wonderful sense of humor and was a really happy, simple guy. He loved life to the fullest! Whether he was putzing around the house, taking car rides with his favorite companions Marie and his dog Maddie, picking up the best sales at Acme, (loved buck a bag), golfing with his friends, playing pool at the cabin, or hustling the grandkids for money at a quick game of cards, just like his mom used to do, Harry was truly a people person! Harry and Marie did everything together! Harry truly loved and cared about everyone he met. Harry’s love for his family was immeasurable. He will be forever missed by them and all those whose lives he touched. It truly was a wonderful life that was cut too short.
Harry is survived by his wife, Marie, his three daughters and son-in-laws, his seven grandchildren, his five siblings and their spouses, and his many nieces and nephews.
