Constance M. Stack

Constance Stack, nee Moony, 89, of Margate went to her heavenly home on Monday, July 19, 2021. Connie was the daughter to Alan and Elsie Moony and sister to Alan Jr. She was born at Atlantic City Hospital and raised in Margate, NJ. Growing up, Connie enjoyed sailing and swimming at the Margate City Yacht Club and endless days on the beach. She attended Margate City schools, Atlantic City High School, and the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. Soon after graduating from nursing school, she married and moved with her husband to Miami, Florida. During that time Connie‚Äôs oldest daughter Erin Constance was born. Missing her home at the seashore, Connie and her family moved back to Margate where her family expanded with the addition of her two children Melissa Constance and Sean William. She worked as a private duty nurse and then at the Atlantic City Medical Center for many years. Towards the end of her career she transferred to the Betty Bacharach Rehabilitation Hospital until her retirement. Lovingly known by her grandchildren as Doo, she babysat many of them in their pre-school years.  In her spare time she enjoyed reading spy novels, traveling with family and friends, lunches at local restaurants, walks on the beach to collect shells and sea glass, and jumping the waves with her grandchildren. She also played bridge with a close group of friends, enjoyed knitting hats, headbands and sweaters for her loved ones, and she played water volleyball at the Ocean City Rec Center for many years.

Connie had a strong faith in God and always carried St. Jude with her.  Connie is predeceased by her parents, Alan and Elsie Moony, and her brother Alan Moony. She leaves behind three children, Erin Peck and her husband Dave, Missy Passmore and her husband Mike, and Sean Stack and his wife Christy.  She will be sadly missed by her seven grandchildren whom she adored with all of her heart, Abaigeal and Arlo Peck, Nicole and Kieran Passmore, and Shane, Hailey, and Chelsea Stack.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 27th from 10-11am, followed by an 11am Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity Parish: Blessed Sacrament Church, Jerome Ave., Margate. Interment will be private at Atlantic City Cemetery, Pleasantville.
