Obituary of Stephanie Jasiecki
Jasiecki (nee Szczech), Stephanie, 95, of Margate, September 6, 1922 - February, 14 2018.
Stephanie passed peacefully away in her home surrounded by her family on Valentine ’s Day, Wednesday, February 14th.
Stephanie was born in Poland, came to the United States and grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Stephanie joined the Navy at the outbreak of WWII. After the war she married Joseph Jasiecki and lived in Philadelphia. They eventually moved to Margate where they resided and raised their family. She worked as an executive secretary at the National Aviation Facilities Experimental Center, (NAFEC).
In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoyed reading, traveling, antiquing, meeting with her prayer group, and doing volunteer work.
Stephanie is predeceased by her husband, Joseph; parents, Franciszek and Stephania Szczech; brothers, Frank, Walter, Joseph; sister, Helen Kabot; and her grandson, Paul Vincent Jasiecki. She will live forever in the hearts of her children, Joe Jasiecki (Kathy), Ron Jasiecki (Kristine), Carol Beckmann, and Stephen; grandchildren, Joe Jr. (Lisa), Donna Mooney (Ed), Aaron Brinegar, Shannon Grover (Greg), Michael Smith (Kelly), Jennifer Bernabeo (Clay); 12 great grandchildren; family friends, Joe Usewicz and Elain Zvacky; and many friends and caregivers.
Services will be held on Monday, February 19th at the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 1707 New Road, Linwood, NJ. Friends may call from 10:30am to 11:30am with a service immediately following. Burial will be at Laurel Memorial Cemetery in Pomona, NJ.
