Saturday, January 13, 2018In Memory of Dr. Mario Pallotta... I would like to extend my most Sincere Condolences to Mrs. Pallotta (Barbara) on the passing of her husband Dr. Pallotta... Dr. Pallotta was my Eye doctor all my life since I was 5 years old (when the office was on Rock Road in Glen Rock) until his Retirement (at the Maple Avenue location)... Dr. Pallotta always professional, provided a thorough Eye Exam upon my annual visit each year... I was very saddened to hear of his Retirement & now of his Passing... Mrs. Pallotta (Barbara) you & your Family are in my Prayers... Sincerely, Vincent Iannaccone

Friday, January 12, 2018My heartfelt condolences to the Pallotta Family. Mario was not only a superb optometrist, but an incredibly caring colleague. He made a point of taking younger optometrists under his wing, and he was an inspiration to those of us establishing practices in Northern New Jersey. I fondly recall him inviting over to his office in Glen Rock to share the treasure trove of reference material and equipment that he had, and invited me to take whatever I thought might be useful. He always sought me out at meetings to ask how things were going. Well beyond that, as I became more specialized in the field, he would call me to consult about patients and periodically refer challenging cases to me that we collaborated on. The extent of his thoughtfulness and caring nature was always appreciated. Dr. Pallotta was an exceptional humanitarian who will be deeply missed.
