Patricia "Diane" Daniels

Obituary of Patricia "Diane" Daniels

Daniels, Patricia “Diane”– 79 a longtime resident of Ventnor, went to heaven on Friday, July 7, 2017 to be with her Lord and Savior.  She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. Born in Philadelphia, she graduated from Bartram High School where she lettered in Basketball and Field Hockey.

She served faithfully at St. John’s By-the-Sea Church teaching Vacation Bible School for over 25 years, singing in the choir and assisting with many special programs.  She successfully operated her own business at home selling Shaklee food supplements.

She loved living at the shore and going to the beach with her family and friends. People were drawn to her. Always smiling, laughing, and enjoying life to the fullest.  She kept life simple…God, family and friends.  Her biggest joy in life was cooking for her family or anyone else who showed up at the last minute! Nothing made her happier than seeing her family gathered around her table.  She was the heart of the family.  She was a very caring and considerate person and her family meant the world to her.  We are sure her laughter is being heard echoing through Heaven as it did on earth.

She was married to her sweetheart, Jack for 61 years who loved and adored her dearly.  Survived by children, John Daniels, Patricia Howarth, and Kimberly Knoll; Predeceased by son, Joseph Daniels.  She loved and treasured her 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; singing, backscratching, cooking, boating, shopping, and babysitting.  Always caring, always listening, always joyful, and always a lot of fun!

Diane’s life will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 11th at St. John’s, 6th South Sacramento Ave. in Ventnor City.  Visitation will be held at 10am with memorial service at 11 am.
